Like other FPS games in the market, Spectre Divide, Shroud’s newest investment, also features a Ranked mode. Just like Valorant, there are requirements for you to play the Ranked Mode. Ranked lets you test your mettle against players who are in the same skill level as you. As you advance, you learn and get better but so do your opponents.
This short piece will look at how you can unlock Ranked in Spectre Divide and also break down the Ranked tree in the game.
How To Unlock Ranked In Spectre Divide (And All Ranks Explained)
To unlock the Ranked Mode in Spectre Divide, you must first 5 casual matches. Once you do, the Ranked Mode becomes available in the matchmaking menu. Now, once you unlock Ranked, you have to win 5 placement matches that will determine your ranked. You will be placed in a rank according to your performance in those five placement matches.
Unlike Valorant or CS2, Spectre Divide has two different rank types available; Solo Ranked and Team Ranked. Before we delve into that, keep in mind that the queues and matchmaking for both ranks are the same. Players in solo queue can face team queues and vice versa. Just like the RR system in Valorant, winning or losing matches will affect your SR i.e. your Santai Rating.
The maximum number of SR you can get on a win is +40. Similarly, the maximum number of SR you can lose is -40. Now, every rank in the game has a 0-200 threshold. If you get collect more than 200 SR by winning matches in that rank, you will advance to the next rank. However, if you drop below 0 SR in that rank, you will be demoted. It works just like the Valorant Ranked system.
Now, suppose you have 199 SR and you win, the additional SR you win will be carried over to the next rank you advance in so those rating points won’t go to waste. Now, let us discuss all the ranks and the rewards for them.
