How To Surrender In Spectre Divide: Everything You Need To Know
When things do not go your way or if a teammate goes AFK, it is a good tactic to surrender so you can start another match. Remember, you can only start a surrender vote after the start of round 2. To surrender in Spectre Divide, open the console by pressing Enter and type one of these console commands.

- /forfeit
- /surrender
- /concede
There is also a surrender option in the game’s menu which can be used to surrender. Now, there are many questions about the circumstances leading upto surrendering and what happens if you do, let’s answer them.
Once a surrender vote begins, all three players must select Yes for it to pass. Even if one declines, the surrender vote will not pass. In addition, when a surrender vote is taken while a person is AFK or out of the game, the remaining players must have a unanimous vote. If someone starts a surrender vote in the middle of a round, the voting itself will begin in the next round’s buy phase.
It is also a given that if you surrender you won’t receive any XP on your contracts or crew points needed to advance to the next levels.

In the ranked mode, surrendering can have an inverse effect on your rank because you will “take the maximum loss in terms of Santai Rating.” In addition, if the surrender vote is called because of an AFK teammate, or if the players have left the game before the vote is called, the remaining players will lose rating similar to what they would lose if they had played the whole match.
It is a better idea to surrender, save time and hop on queues again rather than keep on playing a losing game because of an AFK teammate. It is unfair but the strict protocols are in place to protect the queues and prevent the players from going AFK.
