Shroud’s latest venture, Spectre Divide has managed to grab the attention of many FPS gamers in the market. Just like every other game in the market, the weapons in the game are unique and situational depending on the economy. Spectre Divide has a total of Twenty different weapons to choose from and in this piece, we will rank them from best to worst. These are the best weapons in Spectre Divide, ranked from best to worst.

Best Weapons In Spectre Divide Tierlist: Ranked From S Tier To D Tier

Spectre Divide is a breath of fresh air in the FPS market. The inclusion of a Spectre, which allows you to switch between two bodies allows you to be on two sites at the same time. That is why, whenever you purchase a weapon in the buy menu, it gives you two weapons. There are many weapon combinations in the game but knowing which weapons work best in situations is quite important.

The table below shows you the best weapons in the Spectre Divide. The S Tiers are the best ones in any situation while A Tier is reliant and B and C are situational. The D Tier should be avoided unless you are trolling.

TierWeapon Names
S TierDuster RX6, Buzzsaw RT40, M17 Bouncer, M67 Reaver, Blackout, Berserker RB3, Prototype OP
A TierShiv, M25 Hornet, M18 Drummer, Crusader, M49 Fury, Harpe
B TierM2 Carbon, Tempest, Cyclone, Whisper
C TierTrident, M10 Brat
D TierMelee

This is the priority list you should be looking at when buying a weapon. Next, we will explain why we have chosen these weapons in their respective tiers in the upcoming sections.

S Tier

S Tier weapons are useful in any situation. You can use them to enter sites or hold them down respectively. With these weapons, you can hope to win gunfights provided that you have proper aim and recoil control. They are extremely effective in their desired ranges. Let’s look at them one by one.

Duster RX6

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

If you’ve played Valorant, this gun is extremely similar to the Sheriff or the Desert Eagle from Counter Strike. Every shot deals 55 Damage and a headshot until 25 meters is a clean one tap kill. The Duster RX6 and the Shiv weapon combination is a must in pistol rounds if you have good aim.

The weapon has six bullets with a reserve ammo capacity of 24 bullets. Make every shot count.

Buzzsaw RT40

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

With 40 rounds in each magazine and easily manageable vertical recoil, the Buzzsaw RT40 is one of the best SMGs in Spectre divide and for good reason. It’s high fire rate coupled with a huge magazine count can easily help you get multi frags in eco rounds if you are on target. It does 25 damage to the body and it kills in 6 bullets. It’s high fire rate more than makes up for the low damage as enemies will evaporate with the power of this weapon.

We recommend getting the Buzzsaw and Harpe combo if you want a little bit of everything.

M17 Bouncer

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

This shotgun is LETHAL in close ranges. With a quick pump action, it does not take a while to load back into shots which will be quite important in holding down sites as a defender. Granted this won’t do a lot in attacking rounds but if you can find a cheeky corner to play in, this shotgun can easily get you multiple kills.

No skill, multi kill is the name of the game with this weapon.

M67 Reaver

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

Call it the AK 47 from CS2 or The Vandal from Valorant, the M67 Reaver is an AR that delivers a one shot headshot in any range and a is a lethal 4 shot kill to the body. If you can control the recoil of the weapon and not rely on spraying, this can be a devastating weapon to use in buy rounds.

On top of that, the players who have played FPS games before and have a tappy style of shooting will have a field day with this weapon.

Blackout

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

With high penetration and a silencer, the Blackout is like the Phantom and is one of the best choices for players who like to hold down the M1 button. The recoil of the weapon is quite controllable and the damage drop off at range is not too severe. This should be the go to weapon for people who like controlled engagements at range.

The problem can arise because it only has 25 bullets instead of 30 but can be easily mended if you can hit your shots on target. Plus, you can spam smokes because it doesn’t show tracers.

Berserker RB3

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

This is a high risk high reward weapon. The recoil is not as controllable as the other weapons on the S Tier but this weapon more than makes up for that in damage and fire rate. This LMG does 45 damage to the body which means 3 to 4 bullets will easily kill your enemies if you are on target. Plus it has a variable zoom like many other weapons so that you can be more accurate over distance.

However, the observable recoil will go up if you use the variable zoom so we recommend that you use this weapon in bursts to maximize the damage.

Prototype OP

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Operator or the AWP or in this case, the Prototype OP is a one shot kill to the upper body and above in Spectre Divide. With high penetration and 5 rounds, you will only need to reload once to take out the enemy team. There is only one catch, you must hit your shots on target. The wind up time is significant and it takes a while to cock back before you can shoot again but there has to be a give for this level of lethality.

A Tier

The A Tier weapons are great alternatives for the S Tier weapons if you do not have the in-game money to buy them or prefer a different weapon to the S Tiers. They are lethal in their respective ranges and you will find yourself using these weapons atleast 50 percent of the time due to their convenience. Let’s look at which ones are the best in this tier.

Shiv

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

Valorant players will recognize this weapon as the Ghost. The Shiv combined with the Duster RX6 is the key to destroying people in your lobbies. The weapon can pop up quite a lot so it is advisable to take your time firing so that you can hit every single shot on target.

The weapon deals 33 damage up close to the chest and a 100 damage for a headshot up till 25 meters. It is a good idea for you to grab this weapon if you like to take your pistol duels in close to medium ranges.

M25 Hornet

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

Think of this weapon as the Stinger from Valorant. The M25 Hornet has 25 bullets and a fast firing rate which makes it great for eco round buys if you lost the pistol round. The recoil is controllable but the weapon will sway to the sides a lot since it has tons of horizontal recoil. However, that can be controlled if you take calculated gunfights and back off when you get the opportunity to.

The gun deals 67 damage to the head and 29 to the body up to 25 meters which is the ideal range to be using this weapon.

M18 Drummer

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The M18 Drummer or the Judge, for Valorant players is an automatic drum mag shotgun with a decent rate of fire. The reason why it is a little lower than the M17 Bouncer is because of its overload mechanic. If you keep shooting it continuously, the weapon overheats. It will take a while before the weapon is useable again, the overheat cooldown is the same as a reload which prevents it from going further down the list.

Any of the two shotguns are quite viable in close ranges. However, the M17 Bouncer has more damage than the M18 Drummer so keep that in mind.

Crusader

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Crusader is another Assault Rifle which will be quite useful for medium to long range engagements. Its horizontal recoil is much more pronounced than its vertical recoil and it has thirty bullets that offer high penetration. It does 140 headshot damage in 0 to 15 meter ranges and 120 damage in 30+ meters. It is quite a consistent weapon to use if you do not want to invest in other ARs or don’t like the Blackout.

The weapon’s fire rate is also slower than that of the Blackout which is why it is on a tier below.

M49 Fury

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The M49 Fury is one of the most easy to control weapons in Spectre Divide which is why it is on the A Tier. In the buy menu, you have the option to buy this LMG along with the Cyclone which is quite an adept weapon combination to have if you like to battle medium to long ranges.

The M49 Fury has high penetration with a 50 round magazine that does 38 damage to the chest in 0 to 25m ranges. This LMG will never let you down since it has one of the most consistent and adaptable recoil patterns.

Harpe

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Scout from CS or the Marshall from Valorant, the Harpe is a one shot headshot sniper rifle which can be quite useful in economic rounds should you be on target. It does 101 damage to the chest in all ranges and can be quite useful for the defending side. We recommend buying the Harpe and the M25 Hornet combination to maximize kills and effective damage on the attackers.

The weapon has high penetration as well which can help in spamming boxes or other object should you gather info on an enemy’s location.

B Tier

The B Tier weapons are quite situationally used and there are certain conditions that have to be met for you to use them. There are quite a few weapons in this Tier and we are going to explain why that is the case with these weapons.

M2 Carbon

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The default weapon that every Spectre starts with is the M2 Carbon pistol. Think of it as the Glock. It can work well for a lot of reasons since it has a 74 damage headshot in ranges from 0-25m. However, the reason why the weapon is not higher up the ladder is simply because there are better options. That being, the Shiv and the Duster RX6.

Tempest

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Tempest is a semi-automatic Assault Rifle in Spectre Divide with lethal damage. However, the reason why it isn’t higher up on the list is because it requires pinpoint precision. A lot of beginners and intermediate FPS players will have a hard time with the weapon since it is a semi-automatic one and requires pinpoint accuracy.

However, the damage of the weapon more than makes up for any flaws as three shots in any range will kill an enemy. Plus a one-shot headshot is an instant death. You have 12 bullets to dispose of the enemies and their spectres. It has a variable zoom scope which can help with pinpoint accuracy and high penetration for spamming.

Cyclone

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Cyclone is great for mid to long range engagements and it is cheap enough to come in standard packages. However, the only reason why it isn’t higher up on a Tier is because it is quite situational and there are better options. Make no mistake, it’s a great weapon choice. However, you will find yourself using the Blackout and the Crusader most of the time rather than the Cyclone.

Although, you can use this weapon should you be comfortable with its recoil. It has a slower fire rate in comparison to the other weapons and has 30 bullets in the magazine. However, you will do 116-140 damage depending on the range.

Whisper

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The Whisper is one of the best close range weapons in Spectre Divide but that is just what it is. Because it is not as versatile over range as some of the other weapons in its class, it falls off lower in Tier. Make no mistake, in 0-20m ranges, this weapon will destroy the enemies. That is why, if you know you are playing the role of a rusher who takes sites aggressively or retakes with speed. This is the weapon you should go for.

It has a high fire rate with controllable recoil and it shows no tracers which means you can spam smokes. 2 headshots up close with this weapon can finish the job easily.

C Tier

For the C Tier, we have weapons that are only good if you are a master at tracking, controlling, aiming, snapping at enemies and more. Aside from that, the reason why these weapons won’t do you any good is because they are rarely useful and there are better options.

Trident

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

Don’t get us wrong, the Trident is a good weapon. It is a burst Assault Rifle but there are better options to invest in, especially if you have enough credits to buy a stronger rifle. The problem isn’t that the Trident isn’t strong, it isn’t strong enough.

With its burst capability, you can easily do significant damage to enemies in longer ranges. However, winning gunfights in close to medium ranges can be tough, especially if the enemy has automatic weapons.

M10 Brat

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The major appeal of the M10 Brat is that it is like a Mini Uzi. The reason it is not our go-to pistol is that there is a minimal margin for error if you are using this weapon. If you miss four or five bullets, it can be quite difficult to win a gunfight because it only has 12 bullets in the magazine. Plus, it is terrible in longer ranges in comparison to other pistols. That is why, refrain from buying this weapon.

D Tier

There is only one weapon in here so there is not much to say for this section.

Melee

(Image via Mountaintop Studios)

The melee knife is like every other melee in any FPS game. However, one core different is that it does not have a heavy attack which usually one or two shots enemies. That is why, the margin for error with this weapon is none. The only redeeming factor is that the weapon automatically registers a backstab if you are behind enemies and perform a slash.

Pretty standard.

Those are all of the weapons showcased in the September update of Spectre Divide. We will continue to update this article when there are changes to the weapons. For more Spectre Divide, stay tuned to IBV Gaming.
