Plan Out Your Approach During The Buy Phase

In games like Valorant and Counter Strike, the buy phase is just for planning your weapon purchase, but in Spectre Divide, it is much more than that. Here, you have to plan your approach to the site, your Spectre placement, your economy and so much more. For starters, we recommend that you buy strong weapons that can work in close and medium ranges because that is where you will be taking most of your gunfights.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SPECTRE IN SPAWN. Carry your Spectre wherever you go so that you can reclaim that space even if you are eliminated.

Make sure you have money for a buy next round even if you lose this one. Communicate with your team if you have a gameplan. You can also switch around different lanes and keep alternating between your Spectres to see if enemies have pushed up or taken any space.

Keep Communicating The Smallest Things

Communication in any multiplayer game is crucial. It is the difference between winning and defeat. The abilities in the game for each Sponsorship are designed for teamplay and not solo approach. Pinnacle International’s Flashbangs and Morrgen United’s Smokes and so much other abilities will help you not only take control of sites but possibly string together rounds.

Communicate with your team on where you are planning to execute, the location of your enemies, the amount of enemies alive and see if they need any utility from you. Consider it just like Valorant or Counter Strike where you ask your teammates to flash or smoke for you.

Keep Your Spectres On Either Side For Defense

Now this tip might backfire a lot of times but it is good if you are playing with a party of 3. Ask your friends to place each Spectre on each side of the map and switch between Spectres so that you can respond according to your enemy’s plan of attack. Now, if you place a Spectre on B, make sure you are playing A and not on the same site. When you can confirm that enemy is executing on A, you can switch back and place the puck on A so that you don’t have to fully rotate from B.

Additional Tip: Your Spectres can also give you information about an enemy’s whereabouts. You will get an alert on your HUD near your Spectre showing that there is enemy presence near it. You can always switch back when you get that alert.

Double Loadouts Are Clutch

The best part about Spectre Divide is it’s unique weapon system and Buy Phase. You are not only buying a weapon for yourself but also for your Spectre. That is why, there is a lot of room for experimentation. A double AR buy or a Sniper/SMG buy can be useful if you are looking to hold down longer angles.

Buying a Sniper coupled with the AR and SMG can help you neutralize enemies no matter the distance.

You Can Plant And Diffuse While Defending Yourself

With Spectre Divide, you can take control of two different bodies which naturally means that while your Spectre plants you can cover for it. Use this tactic to not only plant but diffuse the Zeus if the situation gets dire. With this tip, you can save a lot of time and attention. While your Spectre takes care of the measly plant, you can set up for the post plant or explore the site further to take out early aggression or enemies looking to retake.

On the defense side, you can protect your Spectre while pushing enemies and taking gunfights so that your enemies are more occupied with taking you out rather than killing the diffuser.

Strafe While Shooting

Spectre Divide’s unique gameplay allows for one huge advantage. Your bullets will go straight without deviating if you strafe left to right and shoot while ADSing. This can allow you be on the move and shoot without any repercussions. This can allow you to avoid enemy bullets while striking them with your own. Never stay still in one place and use this information to your advantage in gunfights.

You do not face penalties for moving like in CS or Valorant so stay on the move and fight back. Although, it only works with ADS and not with hipfire. Jumping and going back and forth while running will also cause your bullets to stray so ensure that you strafe only from left and right.

Utilize Green Zones For Quick Teleports

There are certain Green Zones throughout the map that have zero delay when it comes to teleports. If you are someone who likes to lurk a lot, then try to find these fast recall zones to have instant teleports which can help you catch the enemies off guard and even cut their rotations to the other bombsites.

However, be careful of leaving your Spectre in the open in those fast recall zones because enemies can easily take them out if you’re not around or occupied with something else.
